GROWTH GROUPS

One of the main reasons we gather together as a community is to grow into the extraordinary people we were created to become. Growth Groups are our way of addressing how we go from believing to becoming and therefore manifesting the glory that God has placed in each one of our hearts.

In order for our extraordinary selves to become a reality we must transform our minds. Transformation takes deliberate and consistent effort and is accelerated in the company of a community.

At Kingdom Community we understand that transformation is not primarily informational, but takes place in an experiential and relational context. Our Growth Group strategy is based upon the idea that we can start your mind moving with input, then give that input direction with interaction exercises. With your mind moving in a direction we meet and dialogue in our groups in order to give you the opportunity to test your learnings in a community of others who have also set themselves on the direction of the input. Group interaction is where the processing power of the transformational engine really exists. When we are exposed to new ideas and concepts, it is truly a gift to have the opportunity to ask questions and wrestle with these new things in order to give them place in our minds to affect real change. After we've interacted with the input we commit to implement this new direction with the traction of action in order to solidify the new concept in our minds. Therefore, your Growth Group then becomes the supportive and encouraging accountability that is needed to take your process from the level of information to transformation.

Growth Groups meet throughout the week in different locations throughout the St. Louis Metro area. All groups are led by a trained growth coach who facilitates the dialogue and challenges the group to dig deeper into certain areas as well as helping to identify things that others may not be seeing in the conversation.

Our groups are intended for the growth and development of our covenant members, and as such, are open to be attended by visitors no more than twice before you are asked to join in covenant with us if you want to continue.
